El Salvador Missions
The Lord Jesus commissioned us to go into all of the earth.....
June 2007, Pastor Ruben Segundo was invited to be part of team that would go to El Salvador to preach the "good news". While there our Pastor fell in love with the people of El Salvador. Upon his return he would weep for the people and their needs and King's Mission Fellowship felt the impact of his visit to El Salvador. During our Vacation Bible School our children made El Salvador their mission and brought pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and dollars to help raise money for a church building that was desperately needed. They raised over $400 dollars. This money along with those of Church of Acts in Corpus Christi helped to build the very church building you see in these pictures. During October Pastor Ruben felt a need to return to El Salvador he held nightly meetings and many believers were encouraged while many came to the Cross of Christ for the first time. We want to thank you for all of your prayers and giving that made these trips possible.
We will be on the road again starting in April, we have a planned trip to Pierdas Negas, Mexico. This trip if for those that have always wanted to do mission work but have never had a opportunity. Then in May we will again be going to El Salvador. We are again asking for your help in supporting both of these trips. We are launching two fundraisers to help raise the funds. One is called "Phoneraiser" the fundraiser only requires you to bring in those old cell phones and old printer ink cartridges. The other is our very own "HealthyTap Water".
